Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
A journey of conversion for adults interested in becoming Catholic or receiving the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. For information, call the parish office. 527-1351

Religious Education for Children (CFF)
Religious instruction for children grades one through eight is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 7:45 at Sacred Heart School. For information, call Ann Wilson, Coordinator of Religious Education 527-8234.

Youth Ministry
All High School students are invited to attend Youth Group Meetings every Sunday at 12:00 Noon in Davids Room.

Hispanic Youth Group
All High School Youth are welcome. They meet every Monday evening at 7PM in the Parish Hall Gym. For more information, call Claudio Martinez at 527-8627.

Re-Membering Church
We invite all Catholics who have stopped attending Church because of divorce, a hurt
done by a priest or religious, or for whatever reason, to join this supportive and caring

Bible Studies:

Rosary Team
Join fellow parishioners in praying the Rosary. Call Cindy Sale at 527-4754. The Rosary is also recited daily after 7:00 AM Mass.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Adoration Chapel is open daily from 7AM until 7 PM. Parishioners are encouraged to sign up for 1 hour a week to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. For more information call Bea Lambdin. 528-0839

Mothers Prayer Group
Meet Tuesdays at 10:00 AM in the Parish Hall to pray for their children and grandchildren. For more information call Parish Office. 527-1351

Telephone Prayer Chain
Join fellow parishioners to pray for certain urgent intentions. Call Loretta Weis to join this powerful prayer group. 527-1753

 


Our Lady of Sorrows Funeral Ministry
This is a group of volunteers who provide a meal for family and friends after the funeral

Comite Guadalupano
This organization supports the Hispanic community and has fundraisers for various
activities. For more information call Martha Gonzalez at 528-0187

Sacred Heart Women's Guild
This organization promotes fellowship among the women of the parish. They host a monthly Rummage Sale and use the proceeds for various needs in and around the parish. They also participate in social, religious and civic activities. Contact Beverly McGuigan, at 384-2689, for more information.

Men of Sacred Heart
Promote fellowship among the men of the parish and assist with parish activities. For more information call Ryan Sale at 527-4854.

Sacred Heart Singles Social Group
All Christian Singles are welcome. For more information call Mary Hendrickson at 527-5709.

Vocations Committee
Fosters vocations to the priesthood, religious life and deaconate. A monthly Holy Hour is held, usually the last Sunday of the month at 3:00 PM. In addition, various functions are held to increase awareness for the need of these vocations.

Stewardship Committee
Works to increase the awareness that we all have many special gifts given to us by God, and we can express our gratitude through prayer, worship, sharing and action. For more information, call Sue Ampi at 527-5716 or Miguel Espinoza at 529-2578 or 520-3345.

Blood Drive
Held on the 2n d Sunday of March, June, September and December at Sacred Heart Church since December, 1995! Medical staff from Blood Source in Redding come to assist in this very important community activity. Refreshments are served; everyone 18 years old and older is eligible.
