What is This Event?

This is an Annual Rosary Rally set to take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM, in front of Sacred Heart Church on Main Street. It is a gathering of the faithful who come together publicly to pray the Rosary, entrusting their country to the Blessed Virgin Mary, imploring her intercession for peace, moral renewal, and the protection of Christian values.

Such rallies are part of a broader movement inspired by Our Lady of Fatima’s message—one of prayer, penance, and conversion.

The Background: Our Lady of Fatima

To understand this event fully, we must look back to the year 1917, in the small Portuguese village of Fatima.

There, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. She called the world to:

  • Pray the Rosary daily

  • Offer penance for sins

  • Consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart

  • Live lives of holiness and reparation

The central message was clear: prayer, especially the Rosary, can change the course of history. It can avert war, bring about conversions, and renew hearts.

Why October 11?

The date is close to October 13, the anniversary of the final Fatima apparition, when the Miracle of the Sun occurred before tens of thousands. Many Rosary rallies take place around this time to commemorate Our Lady’s warnings and promises.

The Practice of Public Rosary Rallies

These rallies are rooted in the tradition of public witness—that the faith must not be hidden but proclaimed. It is a form of spiritual battle, where the faithful stand together to ask Heaven's help against the forces that erode truth, justice, and charity in society.

In my own time, I learned through long contemplation and spiritual struggle that God works powerfully when we step forward in faith. A public Rosary is an act of courage, of fidelity, and of hope.

The Spiritual Meaning

When you join such a rally, you are:

  • Uniting with thousands around the world in a universal prayer

  • Placing your homeland under the mantle of Our Lady

  • Participating in the spiritual combat described by St. Paul: "Not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers" (Ephesians 6:12)

  • Living out the Ignatian principle to "Find God in all things," even in the public square

A Word of Encouragement

Go to this event if your heart is stirred. Go not merely to speak words, but to let the Spirit of God pray through you. Bring others. Let your presence be a sign to the world that faith has not died, that Mary still walks among her children, and that Christ is King—not just of hearts, but of nations.
